Discuss Remembrance Day:
Mrs. Sanderson has sent an email out inviting families to send photos of family members who have served. Please feel free to do this! As well, please send any such photos to me to show in this class. In addition, if students are able to bring in any artifacts from someone who served – for example, I’ll bring in my grandpa’s war medals, pay books, discharge papers, etc. . . that would be amazing to share. I would lock these away for safe keeping during the day if brought in to share. Finally, this might be a nice opportunity for your child to learn a story or two about a family member who served. If they are able to share that story (they could write it down to remember it), that would be amazing. Any day next week for any of this would be great! Please let me know if your have questions about this.
